ICDS Training Academy is being established now, at ICDS, to undertake skill training programs
of Govt. of India, under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
This programs aims to provide additional skill to the youth in the village. The sevice is totally
free and the Govt. of India provide attractive stipend to those who successfully complete this 3 months or
350 hours’ training course.
ICDS now, ventures to provide the following courses:- Self Employed Tailor, Field Technicians
and computer peripherals, Hair Stylist, General Duty Assistant, Handset Repair Engineer, Retail Sales
Assistant etc.,
The NGO undertakes to provide quality skills to the educated rural youth and to assist them to get
better job placement in the appropriate places. On successful completion of the courses, the trainees are
provided with the stipend of Rs.2000/- each, along with an attractive kits with necessary study materials
and they are eligible for getting free insurance scheme.
The first batch of potential students, attended the orientation program at the Tailoring Block at
ICDS premises on 12-01- 2017.
