Womens’ empowerement and SHG: SHG formation and programs related to their maintenance
- Motivational training. in all aspects
Youth Welfare: Sports programs like tournament, sports article distribution – Scholarship to
their studies – career guidance classes etc.,
Vocational and skill training: All types of vocational and skill training programs – And follow up
programs
Health & sanitation: Sanitary latrine construction to the villagers and motivational program on
health – conduct of eye screening and spectacles distribution – Eye surgical camps.
AIDS and prevention and control: Training programs
Program for the disabled:- Skill training – scholarship - Aids and appliances – Loan programs for
their livelihood improvement
Environmental Awareness program: Awareness and action programs.
Miscelaneous Programs: All the welfare and socio economic improvement programs that can be
beneficial to the villagers are being undertaken. All kind of issues and problems, among child,
youth, women in various ages, disabled persons, neglected populace, dejected people through
sickness and all the category of the people are taken care off, by ICDS and the requirements of
these people are rectified through suitable schemes.
At, 17 th camp at Sonallur village Thirupporur Block, 60persons rsons attended the camp
and 15 persons were treated at the Sankara Nethralaya hospital.
At, 18 th camp at Polacheri village of Thirupporur block, 48 persons attended, but only
14 persons were treated at the hospital.
At, 19 th camp at Aduthotti area of Saidapet, 126 persons attended and 35 persons were
treated at the hospital.
At, 20 th camp at Samiyar thottam of Saidapet, 75 persons attended and 14 persons
were treated at the hospital.
