In Karumbakkam – Mullipakkam area of Thirupporur Block of Kancheepuram
District, just 32 kms. away from Kelambakkam head office, three panchayat villages
namely, Melayur, Sirukuntram and Kondangi were selected for health related sanitary
latrine construction program through the liason services of Fiinovation.
Lot of spade works, including community meetings, survey, door visits, Eye
camps, orientation programs of different kinds were undertaken, in order to keep the
program alive.
Once again, we organized the following programs in these villages to keep them
informed of our future programs:- (i.e.) Melayur, Sirukuntram colony, sirukuntram village,
Kondangi colony & Kondangi village. These programs were conducted respectively on 06-
09-2105, 07-10- 2015, 03-11- 2015, 06-11- 2015 & 19-12- 2015.
Thereafter, during 2016, they were invited to attend in various other welfare
cum motivational programs conducted by ICDS at various places , during various occasions.
