The following events were celebrated in various villages:
- World Health Day on 07-05- 2015.
- World Environment Day on 05-06- 2015
- World Disability Day on 23-04- 2015
A general survey taken during this
month in connection with this occasion revealed the fact that, about 404
disabled persons, belonging to the various category of deficiencies are
available in the villages like Perunthandalam, Sirukuntram, Kondangi,
Thirupporur, Kalavakkam, Kelambakkam, Thazhambur, Muttukkadu,
Sonallur, Amur, and Siruthavur.
Youth orientation programs were conducted 3 times in various villages,
during 2016, to identify the basic issues prevalent at this modern world and
also with the view to chalk out relevant programs to face this situation.
